James Johnson, from our Nottingham regional office, received the accolade of "apprentice of the year" at the annual dinner of J & S Seddon (Painting).

James began his career with Seddon in 2002 and has achieved several commendations including:

Young Decorator of the Year, in the West Midlands regional skill-build competition in 2004.

Building and Allied Trade Joint Industrial Council Merit award for the best achiever over the last two years.

4th place in the national skill-build competition.

James is now in his final year at college , working toward NVQ level 3.
