Seddon support of community dvd
J & S Seddon (Painting) Limited is helping to create model communities with support for a pioneering project among housing association tenants.
More than 50,000 North British Housing (NBH) and New Leaf households across the UK have received a DVD in the post recently, which promotes a postive approach to cummunity life.
The DVD takes a look at how neighbours used to view their local communities and how things appear to have changed in recent years.
It aims to inspire people by example and help them to understand their responsibilities as a member of a community.
The DVD shows what a positive impact people can make on their own communities, and show examples of work including garden makeovers, a youth centre scheme, a project to encourgae young people and the elderly to mix, and a project that is helping to eliminate anti social behaviour.
