J & S Seddon has been shortlisted for four major awards.

The company has reached the finals of the Constructing Excellence Awards in two categories – Health and Safety and Leadership in People.

Organised by the West Midlands Centre for Constructing Excellence, the awards are co-hosted by the Chartered Institute of Building and Birmingham City Council’s building consultancy service.

Seddon has also reached the shortlist of The Sentinel Business Awards, in the Commitment to the Community and Overall Business of the Year categories.

Ceremonies for both awards take place in April.

Peter Hordley, director of client services at Seddon, said: “We feel that to reach the shortlist for four prestigious award categories is a real achievement and reflects the good work of the company in the key areas of health and safety, training and staff development, corporate social responsibility and our positive work in the community.”
